Santa Fe, New Mexico, the progressive city that touts itself as “the Art Capital of the U.S.A.,” makes a bigger show of its “diversity” than Oprah Winfrey makes out of being generous with other people’s money.

But, underneath the veneer of “tolerance” lies a virulent intolerance for the people who built Santa Fe, as limousine liberals use zoning laws and gentrification to move the city’s native Hispanic and American Indian populations out to the fringes.

In his profile of native Santa Fe artists, photojournalist Robert Jones paints a portrait of three artisans persevering against the insidious corporate art culture taking over their hometown……..
